  • 12 cup pineapple juice
  • 12 cup club soda
  • 1 tablespoon grenadine
  • 14 cup orange juice
  • 1 tablespoon cream of coconut

  • Shake or stir to blend.
  • Pour over crushed ice.
  • garnish with a pink umbrella.

  1. Good flavor, but a little too sweet for me. Also, that cream of coconut is a royal pain to use--even at room temp all the coconut was congealed at the bottom of the can and wouldn't mix in. I had to transfer it to a dressing shaker to mix it up. Next time I'll just use coconut milk--less hassle, and not so sugary. It didn't really /look/ like a mai tai, but it was still a tasty, tropical drink (if rather pink). DH didn't like it, but he didn't like mai tais when we still drank alcohol. DS loved it, though. I think I'll be making this again, with some adjustments to better suit our tastes.

  3. I used freshly squeezed orange juice and it was a refreshing drink. This is a keeper. Thank you for sharing.
     
  4. This was very good,it had lots of coconut flavor but next time I'll increase the orange juice.
