Yeah! Good stuff! I left off the chili and the colby/jack and subbed some smoked fontina. It was delicious! Really fit the bill on a warmish summer day. And it's so pretty with all the different layers! Thanks for posting.

This is really a delicious and nutritious sandwich, in spite of what Chef whatever claims. First of all, avacado is a very healthy fat. I did leave out the colby, but thought the cream cheese was really good with this combination. I always use the Neufchatel cream cheese as it is about 1/3 the calories of the regular and tastes just as good. Thanks for a great recipe!

This sounds wonderful. I make a sandwich similar to this, but I add sliced apple and red onion....no zucchini, but I add bell pepper.

with all he saturated fat in this sandwich from the cheeses and the avocado which is also high in calories, I would not call this a healthy sandwich, quite the opposite in fact. If you used cottage cheese and some beetroot or radish and spring onion instead of all the high calorie ingredients, then you could call it healthy.

These sound fantastic! I love veggie sandwiches, they are great for taking to work. I usually make mine with hummus and assorted veggies, but I love the idea of the cream cheese and sunflower seeds. Sesame seeds might be nice too, a little bit packs a large protein punch.

These were fantastic!!! Made for lunch today and was feeding a crowd so I made some exactly as written and some w/ changes. Variations included some w/o the seeds, some w/ mild banana pepper rings. I also used a few slices from Dill Buttermilk Bread and added tunafish salad w/o the cream cheese or cheese slices-all were delicious. Thank you for a great recipe!!!

These were exception. We took them on a picnic and my DH even liked them and usually if there isn't a hunk of meat, he doesn't like it. It was crunchy and the cream cheese was a nice touch. Next time I think I might use a cheddar cheese for the cheese. Great!!

I had this for lunch today, really enjoyed it! I used flax whole grain bread, avocados, tomatoes, lettuce, sunflower seeds, cheddar cheese, cream cheese, with about a tbls. of leftover egg salad. Thanks!
