  1. These were excellent!! Even picky DH liked them. I followed the recipe exactly as posted. Never would have thought to put garlic on carrots, but with the sugar it's a perfect blend of flavors. This is the way I'll be making carrots from now on!

  2. This is an easy recipe, but I like to add more sugar, (at least 2 tsps), and I omit the oil, and add a little grated parmesan just before serving.

  3. These were okay. I have made carrots and put garlic butter on them after cooked for years. This is perhaps an easier recipe. Maybe I cut my carrots too thin but they would have been mush in 20 minutes -- 15 minutes was more than sufficient.

  4. These were fine, but not much different from cooked carrots. Everyone ate them. Perhaps the ho hum attitude was due to the fact that I also served garlic chicken so that any flavour in the carrots was lost.

Husband and I are retired in Hawaii. I love cats, mystery novels, colored antique glassware, daisies, and General Hospital. I would rather reheat leftovers than cook, so I hunt for easy recipes.
