Directions

  1. Prepare noodles as directed on package.
  2. Combine other ingredients,except parsely and pimentos, in large bowl:Add cooked noodles.
  3. Add parsley flakes and pimentos to taste.
  4. Refrigerate overnight.
  5. Serve cold or at room temperature.

This is the best Mostaccioli Salad I've ever had!!!! I thought the amount of sauce was perfect and it was not too sweet at all. I'm glad that I tried it even though it got a two star review.

I really didn't care for this at all. I did like the idea of a pasta salad with a sweet/sour dressing, but this was just way too sweet for me. It was so very sweet that I couldn't eat it. I also thought there was way too much dressing for the amount of solid ingredients. At first I thought there may be an error in the measurements, but I have found similar recipes to this that call for the same amounts of seasonings, sugar, and vinegar. I think the combination of flavors in the dressing could be very tasty if toned down a lot. I am sorry - the recipe poster obviously enjoys this salad very much, perhaps you will too if you enjoy very sweet salads.
