I'm sure you mean 350 Fahrenheit. Converter equated 350 celcius with 662 fahrenheit.
Incredible recipe! No shortness on the chocolate. It is easy to tweak the recipe for added sweetness or Chico flavour. I used this recipe for an ice cream cake I made for Thanksgiving 2014. I was going for a coffee/mocha theme so I was glad and surprised to see the recipe asking for boiled water. I substituted strong coffee for the water. I also divided the recipe into thirds to make thin layers of cake to encase the ice cream. A 13
This cake was easy to make and really is super chocolatey! It is absolutely delicious. It is quite filling so could definitely serve 10-12. I used 8" round sandwich tins, but did not pour all of the batter in (I don't have any 9" tins). I also made 3/4 of the amount of icing stated, and this was enough to generously fill the middle and ice the top of the cake. I also made homemade snowies using white chocolate and sprinkles, and used them to decorate the top. Scrummy!!
This is a truly wonderful chocolate cake. It is moist and rich. I didn't change anything in the recipe and it came out very well. Very easy to make. The whole family devoured it!
