- 1 garlic clove
- 1⁄4 cup chopped parsley
- 400 g canned chick-peas
- 1⁄4 cup lemon juice
- 8 teaspoons tahini paste
- 1⁄4 teaspoon salt
- 1⁄8 teaspoon Tabasco sauce
directions
- Chop garlic and parsley finely.
- Place garlic and parsley in a blender or food processor. Add chick peas, lemon juice, Tahini paste, salt and Tabasco sauce and process until very smooth. Approximately 1minute. Scrapping down the sides, as needed.
- Place dip in a serving bowl. Cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.
- Place bowl in the center of a large platter. Arrange prepared vegetables, pita wedges and pretzels and serve.
