1. I thought it was a little heavy on the cinnamon, and I reduced it to 1/2 tsp from the beginning. I will make it again and only use 1/4 tsp. and omit the salt, bonless skinless chicken breasts have a lot of sodium in them to start, so if your watching that...

 2. Excellent, easy to make, great flavours and will be made again. I reduced the salt, increased the oil to 3 teaspoons and had to use milled dried-garlic because I didn't realize I had run out of fresh. 5 mins before it was ready I added a lemon chopped into 8. Fantastic! Thanks for posting

 3. This was wonderful! I used boneless chicken thighs & cut the cinnamon amount in half as other did. I highly recommend doing that b/c you still get a great cinnamon flavor w/o being too overpowering. I kept the salt amount the same, but I use Morton's lower sodium seasoning salt so that is why. I added a bit of garlic powder, too. I cooked the thighs in olive oil on the stove top, then finished in the oven. So easy & had great flavor.

 4. This is a very good recipe. I used it as a rub on 2 chicken breasts, substituted curry powder for coriander & garlic powder for fresh (because I was out). My husband was skeptical at first but really liked it. I'd liken it to Chicken Tikka Masala without the sauce. The only reason I'm not doing a rating is because I deviated so much from the recipe.

 5. Hubby says this is his new favorite baked chicken recipe! Quick, easy, and delicious. I served it with quinoa and salad; made for a perfect, not-too-much work Friday night meal.

 2. This was thoroughly loved by all - including the kids and teens! I didn't have any coriander and subbed garlic powder for the minced garlic. Very tasty and moist. Will definitely be a repeat here!

 3. I used on the bone chicken thighs instead of chicken breast as I think it added more to the dish. I added lemon wedges I thought it needed a little moisture. Half the salt as I added black olives. Friend came over and he is a picker eater and he said he didn't mind it. Everyone who sampled the chicken said it was a 4 star. Thank you for the recipe dicentra.

My rating system: (I don't like giving bad reviews, so if I don't like it, I'll just not review it.)

5 Stars OMG, this is one of the most amazing things I've ever eaten! I can't stop eating it, and I've eaten myself into a food coma.

4 Stars The recipe is wonderful as is. I can't think of a single improvement and I will most likely make it again.

3 Stars This needed a little *something*something*. I might make it again, but will add my own improvements if I do.

I love to eat! And I love to cook. I tend to take over the kitchen when I get in there. Even the dog knows the command get outta my kitchen! LOL. Cooking for other people and trying new recipes or foods is FUN! I have a small (but growing quickly!!) cookbook collection and one of my favorite things to do is to read recipes and plan meals. Rachael Ray, Horn of the Moon and Moosewood are favorites of mine.

We spend a lot of time outdoors camping, hiking and backpacking. Yup. I cook in the woods too! I've made deals with my hiking buddies... If they carry in my food, I'll cook for them. I recently published a backpacking cookbook.
