An unusual blueberry cake that was quick to prepare. In the recipe, photo the cake was light in color, but mine was quite dark, like gingerbread. Very good cake if you want something quick to prepare. My husband loved it!

Really liked this. I doubled it and drizzled icing on top. It got even better the next day.

I loved the way the molasses gives the finished product a "carmelly" color and incredible aroma. So easy to throw together and the perfect answer for "what to do with those blueberries?!". Thanks for an easy, fun, delicious idea!

Mmmm ... my husband especially liked the molasses in this. I cut back the sugar by 1/4 cup & added 1t. vanilla.

I was given a ton of fresh blueberries and needed to use some:this was just delish! Easy to make with stuff I had on hand. Since I had so many berries, I used almost 2 cups and it still came out fine. Very tasty and goes well with my morning coffee!
