Absolutely delicious!!! Marinated sirloin strip steaks for a little over 3 hours in the refrigerator, took out for 30 minutes prior to grilling on the bbq. Seared the steaks on high and then cooked over indirect heat until desired doneness... medium well. Better than expensive steak houses. This is our "Go To" recipe from now on! :) Thank you for the recipe!! :)
I also love this marinade. Used it off the small bottle all the time. Bought the large bottle of seasoning and the recipe was gone. I am glad that someone posted it. It is on the dinner for tonight. I serve it with sauted onions.
I tried this recipe when I found a small pack of Montreal Steak Seasoning in my pantry. I could not remember how I did the marinade and did not have it on my big container of Montreal Steak seasoning. I am so glad you posted this. I added about 1 TB of Cider Vinegar to the marinade when I made it. Used it on Flank Steaks that I grilled on my Weber. Delicious!
Easy and delicious! Makes a flavorful steak that's very tender. I tripled the recipe for about 3 pounds of steak. Thanks for sharing the recipe!
Thanks for posting this. I buy a lot of my spices from the Bulk Barn, including Montreal Steak Spice so I am not "privy" to what is written on the bottle. We loved this marinade and will definitely make it again. The steak was so tender and juicy and the taste was fabulous!
