Easy make ahead Mexican dish with only 5 ingredients. Mild dish can be spiced up as desired by substituting hot salsa and/or pepper jack cheese. Prep time does not include refrigeration time.

  1. Arrange half the chicken in greased 9x13 baking dish.
  2. Dot with half the salsa, then half the sour cream.
  3. Top with half the tortilla pieces and half the cheese. Repeat layers ending with cheese.
  4. Cover and refrigerate overnight.
  5. Bake covered at 375 for 40-50 minutes.
  6. Uncover and bake additional 10 minutes or until bubbly.
