      These are great and every bit as tasty as the 'real thing!' I too was missing Bennigan's...decided to make these on a whim. Used deli meats and a chunk of Swiss all whizzed in the food processor. Even used store brand flaky biscuits and they turned out a treat. (And look pretty, too.) Thumbs up!

      These were great! I loved the cinnamon and nutmeg coating! Now we can have monte cristo's more often, we try to limit ourselves to one a year because they are not real healthy! Thank you!

      This can also be done on a panani (Geo. Forman )grill.On a large g. Forman you can crank out about 6 at a time-cooking about 10min. I also might suggest a different topping other than raspberry, which can be overwelming. Grape or even apple jelly works nicley
