    litldarlin's Note:

This is something my mom would throw together, sometimes it was called Hungarian or just goulash other times it was called (this is all there is for dinner, so you better eat it soup). It wasn't until I got older and started cooking and figuring out different recipes, when I realized this recipe was not even Hungarian Goulash, it was just a poor moms dinner for her kids. My mom would take everything out of the cabinets and just toss it in a large kettle for dinner. You spoon it out in your bowl or plate then you eat it all up. Mom was great. She was a Really good cook just never had any money to buy the best foods for us - but at least we didn't starve.
