Love, love, love this easy recipe. In fact, I will now crave, crave, crave this! Talk about simple. This was a snap to pull together - I halved the recipe and it turned out beautifully. I only wish I had more sour cream in my fridge so I could make some more. The garlic salt, dill and Worcestershire sauce flavor the dip so nicely. Easy peasy recipe to whip up for unexpected guests, too. Next time I am going to try it with non fat sour cream and low fat mayo. :)
Great easy dip made with items I always have on hand! I used low fat sour cream and mayo and sent with DH's lunch to dip his carrots in! He said it was great and requested more for today! Yay! I have personally been enjoying dunking cucumber slices in it! Thanks for posting!
I omitted the garlic salt but used garlic powder instead. I probably used more dill weed. I used light mayonnaise and fat-free sour cream. It was great with cucumbers, carrots and red bell peppers. I made 1/4 of the recipe to have as a side with veggies for lunches during the week. I let it sit in the fridge overnight before eating, to allow the flavors to blend. This is a quick recipe, with ingredients I always have on hand and very tasty. Thanks for sharing your recipe. Made for 123 Tag Game.
I made the whole big bowl of this for us to munch on this weekend with carrots, celery, tomatoes and chips. We are having people over so we will have tons to share. It came out creamy and light tasting. I thought that with the ratio of sour cream/mayo to seasonings it would be bland but it is just right with the veggies! Made for Photo Tag.
I made 1/4 the recipe and had my evening snack of cucumber and celery with 1 tablespoon of dip. The entire recipe makes about 4 cups so the serving size needs to be adjusted for the calorie count to be more reasonable. I figure (and my math is not so great) about 500 calories per tablespoon(?) Well anyway it was delicious and if I watch how often I eat it I will be okay with the calories. Thanks for posting a keeper Pink Diamond.
