  1. These cookies are so good! They're nice and soft with a not too sweet taste. I just cut them in rounds and after baking, I sprinkled them with powdered sugar. Very easy recipe! I will make these again. Thanks Laura!

  2. These are very good cookies for cutouts as they don't rise to much. Also I only used 1/2 cup milk. One batch I used Sunny Delight instead of milk, everybody loved them.

  3. These were very soft cookies. My kids ate them even without the frosting! They stored well but didn't last long in our house. Thanks for posting.

  4. This was very bland and not sweet at all. It was difficult to make because of the alternation of the wet and dry ingredients which were very difficult to mix. Also, the dough becomes unmanageable very quickly when taken out of the fridge.

  5. These are the best cookies, ever. They were such a hit at home and at my daughters school. I have found a new sugar cookie recipe. I don't much care for the hard ones and these stayed soft. I used a smooth icing for the tops, but they were fine without it.

Tweaks

  1. Great recipe. Very much like the one that I make but a little softer. I use almond extract instead of vanilla and you wouldn't believe what a difference it makes, it's like a completely different recipe.
