ingredients
- 2 lbs heads of cabbage, shredded (medium size)
- 1 large carrot, shredded
- 1⁄4 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons vinegar
- 1 cup mayonnaise
directions
- Finely shred the cabbage and carrot.
- Add all other ingredients and mix throughly.
- Refridgerate.

I made this recipe on 9/09/09 for the " Fall PAC 2009 ", and as part of our dinner. Since there was just the two of us, the recipe was greatly reduced. The amount of cabbage was cut down to 1/2 pound of shredded. And the rest of the ingredients were adjusted to our tastes. It was very easy to put together. And we both enjoyed the taste. I cut this recipe in half & still shared it with a neighbor couple & we all thought it A GREAT TASTING SLAW! I used half red & half green cabbage & still included the large carrot, finely shredded! It took almost no time to put together! Very, very nice! [Tagged, made & reviewed for one of my adopted chefs in the current Pick A Chef]
