Trying to lighten up Mom's potato salad

I was intrigued by the addition of milk so wanted to try this. I mixed the dressing separately & then added to the potatoes. I was afraid it might be runny, but everything turned out perfectly... very creamy and a nice southern style potato salad. Because of the tang from the vinegar I really didn't miss the pickle relish found in other salads. This does have quite a bit of mustard & turns out a pretty yellow. I added diced red peppers simply for color, but otherwise made no changes. Thank you for sharing your recipe! Discovered during Spring 2010 Pick A Chef.
