This was my late mother's potato salad recipe. My children love their "Granny's potato salad."
- 6 cups cooked, diced potatoes
- 1 cup diced celery
- 1⁄2 cup onion
- 4 chopped eggs
- 1⁄4 cup chopped pickle
- 1 1⁄2 cups mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons mustard ("or" whatever you prefer)
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons vinegar
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- Combine all ingredients.
- Serve warm or chill.
This was absolutely wonderful! I made it in Florida at my brothers house with bbq chicken! My hubby and brother aren't crazy about potato salad and they each had 2 servings! GREAT dish!
Mom would be proud! Very good and looks good, too! Thank you for posting this old fashion style recipe! We all need a little help from our past to keep family Flavors alive!!! Sharon Jean
Really good potato salad, I used a red onion and honey mustard. Thanks for posting. =)
