compared to other popcorn ball recepies i've made this was hard half way through rolling the batch the rest got so hard i couldn't finish rolling into balls. it stuck horribly to your teeth and not much of a sweet taste with it.

  1. In a medium saucepan, mix all ingredients except the vanilla.
  2. Cook until mixture reaches 270 degrees, or brittle ball. (approx. 10-15 min over medium high heat)
  3. Take off heat and stir in vanilla.
  4. Pour over the popcorn, and stir lightly and quickly to coat. Shape quickly with butter coated hands (important - the butter keeps the syrup from sticking to and burning your hands). Note: If desired, food coloring can be added before cooking.
