      I have to tell you. This is a fantastic cake. My son likes only chocolate cake and he even loved this cake. It is so moist, love the simple syrup rum and apricot preserves with the pineapple. After I made the Pineapple Rum Cake, I tried it with a choco cake mix, choco pudding and added toffee bits to the frosting. For the simple syrup I used Kahula and for the preserves I used hot fudge. Another great cake. I can't wait to try a different one next. Thanks for the great recipe!!!!!
