Mom's Pea Salad

"This is one of those Thanksgiving and Christmas recipes. We only prepare it on special occasions. Sometimes during the hot summer I prepare chicken and dressing and pea salad. It's a nice change. This is the recipe my mom taught me to make. I love it."

I love to eat and cook-so I have the perfect combination of hobbies. People contact me or want me to bake sweets more than anything. I have a husband of 26 years and a son that is 24 years old. We are all big eaters. Our favorite new thing to do is cruising. The all inclusive cruise is the ideal vacation for us. There is always a pot of something on my stove. My husband and son are good cooks too. My favorite cookbook is a local cookbook made for Relay for Life "Cooking for a Cure". It has been a huge fundraiser for our team. I am a true Southern girl. I live in a small Texas town and we are all just plain people-my husband drives to Dallas to work for a large company. I work for Monolithic-check it out www.monolithic.com My "go to" member on RecipeZaar is Kittencal. I can always find what I am looking for searching her recipes. I am a true fan.
