- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1⁄3 cup white vinegar
- 1 tablespoon white vinegar
- 1⁄3 cup water
- 1 tablespoon water
- 3⁄4 cup sugar
- 2 teaspoons sugar
- 1⁄4 teaspoon salt
- 1⁄4 teaspoon black pepper (or more to taste)
- 1⁄4 teaspoon celery seed
- 1 head cabbage, shredded
- 3⁄4 cup red bell pepper, diced
- 1⁄2 cup yellow onion, diced
- 2 -3 green onions, chopped
directions
- In a 10-cup or larger glass or plastic bowl, whisk together olive oil, vinegar, water, sugar, salt, black pepper, and celery seed.
- Add cabbage, red bell peppers, and onion.
- Toss well to combine.
- Refrigerate at least 1 hour to marinate.
- Leftovers keep up to 1 week in refrigerator.
