This is the best macaroni salad. It makes a huge batch, so it's great for a potluck or barbeque party, or for sharing with friends. Plan to make it a day ahead of has to "percolate" overnight to blend flavors.

  1. Cook and drain macaroni and let cool.
  2. Mix milk, mayo, sugar and vinegar.
  3. Add to cooled pasta.
  4. Add remaining ingredients.
  5. Cover and refrigerate overnight.
  6. Don't be disturbed by the strong vinegar aroma. This will disappear overnight.
