Oh man that's good! This makes a TON!!! I am making this for teachers gifts this year and thought that I would need to double... ha ha, no. I didn't have anything big enough to mix this in and figured that out once I started mixing everything. I started out with a 54oz Super Bubble Bubble Gum container (had to eat the gum first.:)) that overflowed so the DH suggested that I use my roasting pan to mix it up in. worked like a charm except getting it out of the pan. I left that up to him and let him clean up the mess. Now making the actual drink is tricky because I'm not sure what I really need to put in a cup, but I think i figured it out. I fill the cup half way with the dry and them add the water. That gives me the right amount. I like to add cinnamon to mine and yumm-o, Mexican hot chocolate! Try it, you'll like it!!
Great mix - I make it every year for my exended family as Christmas gifts, and they LOVE it! Note: use Nesquick and other name brand ingredients. I used store brands and it was not nearly as good. Thanks for sharing!
Absolutely the BEST hot chocolate mix I've ever tried. It makes a lot (I had to mix it in my turkey pan because I didn't have a bowl big enough), but that's cool - now I can give some as gifts and still have plenty left for me. :)
I made a half batch today, made a cup and really enjoyed this drink! It does have a nice depth of flavor. I used vanilla flavored creamer and our local brand of chocolate milk mix. Thanks Caryn!
Yummy. I put mine through the blender (in small batches) to produce a smoother dry mix. We used it for teacher's gifts for Christmas, as well as for our own personal use. Thanks so much for sharing.
Thank you for this recipe! My daughters and I made it together. It was easy and it tastes great. It dissolves easily in hot water (not like the annoying store bought mixes.) We are going to make another batch and use it to make our teacher gifts for Christmas this year.
This was sooooo good! I made a half batch to see if I liked it and I'll have to make a full batch. It is rich, not watery like some. Thanks for the recipe. It's a keeper.
Wow! I had to rate this right away! I just finished my first cup of cocoa, and I swear it was THE BEST cocoa I have ever had! I am going to be passing this recipe on. Thanks a bunch!
This is the best hot chocolate I have tasted. I have made 2 batches now. The second batch I used Hazelnut flavored coffee mate. It was great. Thanks for this recipe!
The very best ever! Thank you!
