My family loved this dish. The really great thing about it is that it is a one dish meal. Just add a salad and you have the perfect meal.

I did not like this, and neither did my 3 year old who loves mac and cheese. My husband also did not care for it. I will not be making this again...

This was a huge hit with my husband and son! The only modification I made was to add some onion flakes. I left a small portion without ham for me since I am a vegetarian. This one is a keeper!

This was a breeze to make and quite tasty! To make it more toddler friendly, I used Healthy Request soup (lower sodium) and added a small tin of mushrooms (drained and roughly chopped) and about 3/4 cup of thawed frozen peas. Since the sauce is quite thick, I covered the dish for the first 25 minutes, then uncovered it for the last 5 minutes after I added the cheese on top. Thanks for posting!

This was definitely easy to make. I made it exactly as the recipe dictated and both kids liked it. I think next time I'll try adding the peas to it. I can't say it's my personal favorite, but it's definitely a keeper.

My family loved this quick and easy dish. I used bow-tie pasta and cream of chicken soup instead of the cream of mushroom. The cheese that I used was a combination of colby/jack and sharp cheddar...yummy! Also, I wanted to make this a complete one dish meal so I added approx. 1/2 c. of frozen peas. I baked this in a 7"x11" baking dish for 30 mins. covered with foil. After removing the foil, I sprinkled the cheese on the top and baked for another 10 mins. Thank you for sharing this wonderful recipe. It is pure comfort food.

Flavorful but not too rich. Love the addition of the mustard and the little salty chunks of pork. Great way to use up some leftover ham.

I made this tonight with my six year old. We loved it. The only changes I made were to use spicy brown mustard instead of yellow and I added garlic salt, onion flakes, and some red pepper flakes. I did not measure any of those additions just eyeballed them. It was wonderful and a great way to use up my leftover ham.

Great! Very rich and cheesey! And super easy to put together. DH had 2 huge bowls. I made another one to throw in the freezer, hope it's just as good!

Outstanding! I saw the recipe today and fixed this for supper tonight. I used shaved, chopped Virginia ham, shredded colby-monterey jack and cream of chicken soup. My husband, daughter and grandson gobbled it up, with only a little bit left for lunch tomorrow...goody for me! Thanks for a GREAT and EASY hurry-up recipe!

Great! Very tasty, and the perfect dinner fixings for a cold night! Sauce didn't "melt" down into the underneath layer of cooked macaroni-I stirred and mixed well, then added the last 1/2 cup of grated cheese and returned it to the oven for final melting. I used sharp cheddar, and it was delicious, with everyone going back for 2nds and 3rds. I will prepare this again!

I had a lot( and I mean a lot :))of honey ham leftover from Christmas and I wanted to use some of it up,So I picked this recipe. And It lived up to it's great reputation. My SO and I enjoyed "the slight kick" that the mustard gave it.Since I'm not really crazy about mushroom soup,I subbed it with cream of chicken.I served Recipe#20499 and hominy with it and they made great side dishes. This is a keeper,Thank you for posting.

We thought this was great! I was out of macaroni so had to use spaghetti which I broke into smaller pieces. I also subbed cream of chicken soup for the mushroom, just a personal preference. Loved how easy this was!

This was a good basic recipe for starters. Good for those on a budget. I used a cut up piece of ham steak and wagon wheel pasta. I really didn't care for the taste of the mustard in this. I thought only a teaspoon wouldn't make much difference, but it was too noticeable for me. I also felt the temp of 400 was too high - my mac was dry on top when I went to put the cheese on it. I feel the temp needs to be more around 350 and maybe cover with foil. I would try again, but with some adjustments. Thanks.

Yummy! We all loved this! I think the addition of the mustard made a nice, slight difference to the "usual cheese taste" of mac & cheese...The ham addition was wonderful, and gave it a great dimension! The only thing I added was a sprinkling of Paprika to the top (kind of habit for my mac & cheese casseroles...) This is a keeper in my family, for sure. Thanks, Ang!

EAsy, but the cream soup was a bit overpowering. My daughter and I are not big fans of mushrooms (was hoping it wouldn't be a dominant flavor), so we didnt care for this too much. Thanks anyway.

This is great!!! I just knew to double it. I followed the recipe to the letter. I know this will freeze really well. I sliced some tomato and bell pepper and cucumbers as a side for this. Wonderful. Thank You so very much. Hugs

I have made this recipe for years. The only difference is that I use cream of chicken soup. This is very kid-friendly, too. I had forgotten about it, so thanks for the reminder! Roxygirl in Colo.
