I was a little worried as my hubby is a burger purist. Not only did I think they were delicious he said they were too. I used a higher fat ground beef and grilled them on the gas grill. They wanted to fall apart at first but I left them alone and once they cooked abit they were fine. I will make these again. They were just different enough to be .... well...different. Not your average grilled burger. Only change I made...I didn't have chili sauce so I made my own with 1/4 cup of ketchup and added minced garlic and horseradish to taste. They still worked!

This recipe is delicious although for some reason my burgers fell apart, and I ended up putting it all in a frying pan to make sloppy joes. It was very tasty but I'm trying to figure out what happened because the only changes I made to this recipe were to use matzoh (crumbled and not moistened) instead of corn flakes and to use 1/2 c bbq sauce and no chili sauce. It was very tasty and my kids really enjoyed it so I'm sure I'll try it again and hope the burgers stay together.

I made a bunch of these for the freezer for quick meals. They are really good! I used salsa in place of chili sauce and bran flakes instead of cornflakes since that is what I had on hand. They smelled a little odd with bran but they sure taste good. I used lean ground beef and fried mine frozen, no trouble sticking.
