This is how my mom always made BBQ ribs, and it can't get any easier. This method keeps the sauce nice & thick. I'm posting it here mainly to see what the nutritional information is.

  1. Place ribs in crock pot and season with salt and pepper to taste. Cook on low all day-- 6-8 hours.
  2. About an hour before supper time, drain all the liquid from the pot. Return ribs to pot and pour in the BBQ sauce. Simmer on low another hour.
  3. Serve and enjoy!

I'm not adding a rating because I didn't make this exactly but I used this recipe as a jumping-off point to make shredded pork for sandwiches and it was awesome! I used 2.5 lb of boneless ribs and about 1.25 cups of homemade sauce, Tony Roma's Carolina Honey BBQ Sauce. After 6 hours the ribs were fall-apart tender so I added the sauce and cooked for 1/2 hour more - until hot through. Thanks so much for this great and super easy recipe idea!
