One of my mom's signature summer dishes. Cook time is the chilling time.
- 2 -3 cucumbers, sliced (peeled, if preferred)
- 16 ounces sour cream
- 1⁄4 cup milk
- 1⁄4 cup cider vinegar
- 1⁄4 cup water
- salt and pepper
- Mix all ingredients except cucumbers until creamy.
- Add cucumbers. Refrigerate until well chilled.
- I dish mine out using a slotted spoon and then season with salt and pepper.
I tried this and liked it so much that I made it for a potluck at work. I doubled the milk, cider vinegar and water to make it a little thinner. All the girls at work loved it.
This needs a "punch". Not sure what to add to it.
