Mom's Chili

"One of my personal "easy favorites" from my mom. It is a great cool weather dinner, that's quick. You can substitute ground turkey or beef instead of vension."

  • Brown venison in frying pan, drain any fat.
  • Add diced onions and cook with meat until translucent, sprinkle with seasoning mix and blend thoroughly.
  • Add tomato sauce, diced tomatoes and beans, mixing well.
  • Transfer to crockpot on medium-low for 1 to 2 hours OR eat right away out of the skillet.

I live in Western Michigan with my dh & two greyhounds. I have been fat the majority of my life. I joined WW on 3/16/01 and have lost over 100 pounds. (Still working on that goal...)
