Very moist, very delicious, lots of banana flavor. Use very ripe bananas for easier mashing. Nuts are optional.

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Beat butter, sugar and egg with beater until fluffy.
  3. Sift or mix together flour, baking powder, and baking soda.
  4. Add dry mixture to butter mixture, along with mashed bananas and milk; stir well.
  5. Add nuts if desired.
  6. Put in loaf pan and bake for 1 hour.

A delicious banana bread that lives up to the advertisement. We didn't make this with nuts, but the addition of them would definitely be taking it up a notch.
