This will be my new baked bean recipe. Best baked beans any of us have ever eaten. Didn't change a thing.

People will rave over these beans! Thanks for posting this recipe. Great for barbeques. I made the beans a day in advance except for actually baking them, refrigerated them and then baked them the day of my barbeque. Takes a little prep time, but well worth it! FYI - Don't skimp on the bacon, or cheat by using bacon bits. It just isn't the same :)

Donna, we wanted to like this recipe. But the combination of lima beans, kidney beans, and butter beans in a baked bean sauce was not appetizing. My husband is a huge bean fan, and even he could not eat much of this. Next time, I'll stick to the standard baked beans recipes. Thanks, anyway! :)

Yum, great flavor and loved the mixed beans. The only thing I did differant was had 1 tsp of liquid smoke and it made for a great side to a bar b q we had with smoked briscit, chicken and sausage. YUM, will be making again and again. Not a bean left by the end of the party. Thanks Donna, loved it.

Hello! This was a tasty recipe! At first I was like another reviewer and didn't know how I would like the combination of the different beans. I was very suprised and satisfied with this side dish. I served this with Baked Barbecue Chicken and buttered corn. It kind of reminded me of a summer meal, but yet was great comfort food. Since it was just my boyfriend and I, I halved the recipe. There is plenty leftover, so I put it in the freezer to enjoy again really soon. Thank you again! :)
