"Loved these as a kid and still love them. They are soft and spicy. I'm guessing at the yield, but the recipe makes oodles."

  • Boil raisins in water for 5 minute and add baking soda.
  • Cream butter and sugar.
  • Add beaten eggs.
  • Add dry ingredients alternately with raisin mixture.
  • Drop by teaspoons on a lightly greased cookie sheet.
  • Bake at 400 for 10-15 minute.
