Borx is a natural mold retardant. If you live in an area where the humidity levels are high, try adding a cupful to your soapy water whenever you wash down the walls. I put mine in an old spray bottle & keep it in the shower to spray after each time it's used. Not only has it prevented mold build-up, it has removed those black spots that appear in the caulking. From the Reader's Digest book called 'Home Made Best Made'.

  1. In a spray bottle, combine the ingredients and spray generously on moldy surfaces.
  2. Wipe clean with a damp sponge.
  3. For shower walls, floors & corners I leave it on until the next shower.

I'm giving this five stars even tho I don't have a mold problem but my son certainly does. He lives a stones throw from the ocean and is forever fighting mold in the bathroom because there isn't a fan in there. I'll use this mixture this weekend when I go for a visit. Thanks much.
