yummy pork chops! kittencal, i'm never disappointed with your recipes. thanks for posting! my only suggestion to others who make this recipe is to use pork chops with a little fat on them. i used extremely lean chops and they were a little dry. just sliced them thin and piled on the great sauce! served with scalloped pototoes. very well received! p.s. used fresh mushrooms and added the parmesan directly into the mushroom gravy. thanks again, kittencal!
These turned out super moist and delish!!! I changed a few things up a bit. I'm allergic to canned mushroom soup , so I made my own. I used Fresh mushrooms, 2 onions, canned milk , water flour, s&p. After I made the soup I added the white wine and parmesan cheese directly to the soup. I used panko bread crumbs in place of reg. ones. I will make this again and be sure to add it to my list of favorites.
This was really good! I didn't have the wine, so omitted it. I only baked for 45 min and then added soup mixture for 30 min. I added grilled mushrooms and onions to soup mixture, used garlic and herb breadcrumbs with mrs dash chipolte, pepper and onion powder.
This was very tender with good flavor, served over egg noodles. a winner!
Great comfort food! I used half milk and half half-and-half and fresh mushrooms. Very simple and very tasty. Thanks for sharing again, Kitten. Made for 1-2-3 Tag.
Excellent recipe!!! I deviated a bit from this recipe and added the following:

Saute one (1) medium chopped onion and two (2) stalks of celery in four (4) tbsp of butter and 1/2 cup of white wine. Mix in with the mushroom gravy mixture. Also use one (1) can of cream of celery soup for gravy mixture. Instead of cayenne pepper, use ground ginger and curry powder. Also mix parmesan cheese in with the gravy mixture.
This recipe was a first for me and it will definitely not be the last time I cook this. We absolutely loved it. I didn't change a thing except I omitted the can of mushrooms because of my picky eaters.
these were by far the best pork chops i have ever had! thanks for the great recipe!
What an easy recipe! I made this last month, but I forgot to review it and post my pictures. I made this for one serving. The only thing I did different was to leave out the sliced mushrooms and cayenne pepper. As for the baking time, I wasn't sure, so I baked the pork chop in the mushroom sauce for about 45 min @ 350. The parmesan cheese was added the last 15 min of baking. It turned out super, and I served it with stuffing and beans.
This is a great recipe. Had originally planned on making a different recipe for my pork chops until I realized at the last minute that they wouldn't all fit in the frying pan. Because of the last minute change, I skipped the breading portion of the recipe and they were still amazing!! Looking forward to trying these again with the breading but for quicker weekday dinners will certainly continue to make without the breading. Thanks.
Kitten, this was a wonderful recipe! We scaled it down in half and the whole family thoroughly enjoyed it. Moist and tender with an amazing coating. Be sure to save extra sauce for rice or potatoes.....delicious! :)
