      I made this for a party for all ages, and it was very popular. I used white grape juice and added red grapes for a pop of color, and I used lemon-lime soda instead of club soda because I already had that on hand. Several of the adults commented on how good it tasted - and that it almost tasted like it had wine in it, too. The kids liked the fruit floating in it.

      I served this for an office function that include employee children and it was a hit. I did a white grape juice version to make it clearly different from the alcoholic version and the kids loved feeling like they were having something sort of adult. Aside from all that it was tasty.       This was a nice refreshing drink, that taste's sort of like champagne when using white grape juice. My DH and I didn't think that the fruit did anything to help the flavor, but we made the drink in glasses instead of a pitcherfull. The fruit would look pretty in a glass pitcher for serving. I might try this next time with red grape juice and I think it would be closer to a real sangria flavor. It was nice and light and refreshing, however, and we enjoyed it.
