Mock Rice Pudding..low Fat Low Carb

This recipe is based on a recipe I found while surfing the web. I tweaked it and came upon a yummy low fat low carb treat. This recipe taste similar as a no bake rice pudding dish. The texture is a bit different. I am not a huge cottage cheese fan, but this recipe is very good.If you dont like artificial sweeteners, use plain sugar. Sugar/sweetener is to taste, the whip cream adds sweetness, so add sugar accordingly.

Directions

  1. Combine cottage cheese, whip cream and splenda together.
  2. Mix well.
  3. Sprinkle cinnamon on top.
  4. Enjoy!

This is very yummy. I used 1/4 cup fat free cottage cheese & only used 2 tbsp light whipped cream (didn't think more was necessary!). I used 1 packet of Splenda & lots of cinn! Topped it with a little banana & microwaved it for 10 sec (it was good cold, too). Thank u for sharing!!

I love this for breakfast; a great higher protein option for the morning! I use the Domino brand of sucralose/sugar blend as straight artificial sweetners make me a bit ill to my stomach. Still, this beats a bagel! I also do this using ricotta cheese and it is teriffic! I use the sugar free Cool Whip as well as it is handier to keep in the house for just one.

This was very tasty! I needed something to kill some sweet cravings, this did the trick! I added 3 raisins which was a speacial treat! Yummy!
