Mock Potato/Cauliflower Chips

Someone had to try this with the low-carb craze, so I gave it a shot! They really shrink when cooked. Might try it with brocolli too....

Directions

  1. cut the stem of a cauliflower into slices like potato chips.
  2. fry in oil till brown.
  3. sprinkle with salt and eat.

Mmmm...what a treat that was, and it looked soooo pretty. I sliced mine on a mandoline so they were very thin and crispy, but the browned edges were the best! I served them with some hummus for the perfect movie snack ever. Thank you.

WOW! I read this and went right into the kitchen to try it! Excellent! I don't think I sliced mine thin enough though because only the outer sides got crispy but they were delicious! Sort of tasted a little like home fries (but that's fine with me!) Thanks!
