  1. This is a great recipe. I mixed it up the night before and froze. Then I took it to work for a mexican theme lunch we were having. Everybody loved that they were having margaritas at work (without the alcohol). This is a keeper!

  2. This was wonderful! This was served to about 10 women at a La Leche League meeting (they help moms and babies nurse - and thus the reason we needed a "mock" margarita!) and EVRYONE loved it - I should have doubled the recipe because it was almost gone before the meal was even served! I had 4 people ask me for the recipe! Thanks!

  3. This is excellent. I put it together in the morning and we had it for our before dinner drink and we both really enjoyed. Of course, we added the real thing, Tequila, before freezing. Wonderful.

  4. Esta muy bien! Added thawed cans of frozen concentrate, powdered sugar, club soda, and tequila to large pitcher and stirred vigorously with a whip. Due to low sodium diet, skipped the salt rimming of the glasses. Did a test run with the tequila to see how this would work in my Margaritaville Margarita-making blender. Works great! Am making the "mock" version for an offsite office retreat with coworkers next week with the salt. Thanks, CountryLady, for a new favorite recipe to use in my specialized blender.

In the words of Tracy Byrd, "I'm from the country & I like it that way"!! On May 1, 2008 my husband and I started a new adventure. We'll be living in a 37 foot RV while our new home is under construction. Its out in the country on a dead end dirt road with lots of trees. For the next 4 months or so, most meals will be cooked on the BBQ and life will be full of challenges! We love spending quality time with our friends & family - especially the grandkids!! The photo is 4 generations - my 84 year old mother, myself, my daughter & my youngest granddaughter - taken at the end of 2006. I've participated in many contests & events here on Zaar but this is the first banner that I've posted. My thanks to Dreamgoddess for hosting the contest & SusieD for the banner design! <img src="http://i48.photobucket.com/albums/f249/Dreamgoddess555/Narrow1-1.jpg">
