Mock Guacamole

"I have not tried this recipe yet, but wanted to share it for all those guacamole lovers out there! From Pampered Chef's Spring 2003 Season's Best"

• Yields: 1.75 cups

ingredients

• 473.18 ml frozen sweet peas
• 1 plum tomato, seeded and chopped
• 59.14 ml onion, finely chopped
• 2 garlic cloves, pressed
• 14.79 ml lime juice
• 1.23 ml lime zest
• 59.14 ml fat-free mayonnaise or 59.14 ml regular mayonnaise
• 29.58 ml chunky salsa
• 2.46 ml salt
• 29.58 ml snipped fresh cilantro
• 0.39 ml hot pepper sauce (optional)

directions

1. Cook peas according to package directions.
2. Rinse under cold water to cool and drain.
3. Mash peas using a potato masher.
4. Add rest of the indgredients and blend well.
5. Serve with tortilla chips.
