  1. Bring milk to a boil on medium.
  2. Combine sugar, cornstarch, coffee and salt in a large bowl.
  3. Combine half and half and egg yolks and stir into sugar mixture whisking constantly then into the milk and simmer 1 minute or until thick, whisking constatnly.
  4. Remove from heat and stir in butter and Kahlua.
  5. Pour into a bowl in a larger ice filled bowl for 15 minutes until cool, stirring occasionally.
  6. Cover the surface with plastic wrap and chill.
  7. Serve with dark chocolate shavings on top.
