I agree with the other reviewers...the frosting really makes the brownie. The cinnamon cream cheese frosting nicely complements the chocolate flavor of the brownies. I frosted the brownies, cut them into squares, and then refrigerated overnight. Next time I will stir chocolate chips into the batter before baking to bump up the chocolate goodness.   1. For Brownies:.
  2. Melt the chocolate and butter together over very low heat, stirring constantly.
  3. Set the mixture asied.
  4. Beat the eggs.
  5. Gradually beat in the sugar until the eggs are light and fluffy.
  6. Add the vanilla.
  7. Stir in the chocolate mixture and mix well.
  8. Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  9. Sift together the flour, baking powder, salt and coffee powder.
  10. Stir into the first mixture.
  11. Fold in the nuts.
  12. Pour into a greased 9x13" pan.
  13. Bake 30 minutes.
  14. Cool, frost if you like, then cut into squares.
  15. For Frosting:.
  16. Cream together sugar and cream cheese.
  17. Add the milk, vanilla and cinnamon.
  18. If too thin, firm up with additional confectioner's sugar.
  19. Frost the brownies after they're cool.
