This was absolutely smashing! So thick, creamy and comforting with a wonderful mushroom flavour! My sis and me served it with mashed taters and it was the perfect comfort food. YUM! Sooo good! I didnt use the nutritional yeast and in place of the braggs (which I couldnt find) I used veggie broth. This was so yummy, Ive added it to my regular rotation. Rootin, tootin, fabulous gravy. This is now my go-to recipe for gravy. Easy, tasty and thick. . .love it. I am going to use it atop some garlic mashed potatoes and a veggie loaf tonight. THANKS for a keeper! UPDATE: This is family favorite and I make it often. I have even made it with dehydrated morel mushrooms which is a real treat! We love it on mashed potatoes, on veggie burgers, even over noodles! Love this stuff. My neighbor who only understands meat and potatoes frequently requests I make this for her which she likes to put over baked chicken (yes, meat LOL).
This is a very delicious and easy to make gravy. I loved it and so did my hubby, we ate it with baked tofu, mashed potatoes and green beans, and my hubby hates mushrooms! This is a keeper, thanks for posting! Made for ZWT8.
Creamy good! Almost like cream of mushroom soup. I did add more water. I used a blend of baby bella, oyster, and shitake mushrooms equaling 4 ounces. I didn`t use the nutritional yeast. Thanks for the good eats!
