These were very yummy!!! The sauce didn't quite thicken up as much as I would have like, maybe I had too much sauce and not enough yams!! They were the best yam recipe I have tried!

The lemon in this yam recipe adds a delicious change to the usual yam dish. I made this for Thanksgiving and everyone raved about it. This recipe has been requested from me from several people who dined with us.

This is my go-to recipe! I make it for Easter, Christmas, and any other time of year! I love the lemon slices on top - they add a lot of flavour, and it makes it looks beautiful.

The lemon was a nice twist but we(even my nine year old) found this dish to be way to sweet. The syrup seemed to over power the the yams.thanks anyway

Delicious, I usually find candied yams too cloying, but the lemon really changed the flavor. Definitely will serve them again! I arranged them several layers thick so they could share space in the oven with the turkey and they were just fine.
