This recipe was originally for grilled asparagus but I've used it on lots of other things, changing the herbs used in some cases. Some suggestions: salmon (dill), chicken (rosemary or tarragon), pork (tarragon).

I was looking for a quick easy marinade for chicken breasts, using ingredients I had on hand. I used slightly more wine to make the marinade a little thinner, and used mixed Italian herbs instead of tarragon. I marinated for several hours, then grilled. Very tasty!
