Just be sure to follow direction to soak dates first, whether in water or other liquid. Then you're in for a real doozy of a smoothie. Mmmmmmmmm.... *dreamy lip-licking*
This is delicious and easy to make! I was afraid that the flavors of the dates and bananas would be overpowering, but they really complemented the carob powder, giving it a rich, chocolaty flavor. I have to admit that I used soy milk instead of water, which isn't raw, but made it even "creamier." I found that one large banana was enough. I will definitely make this again. Yum yum, this is lovely. I cheated and used dibis (date syrup) because I wanted it right away! But I will definitely make this again as posted. I used fresh mint from the garden.
