Any southerner knows, there's nothing more refreshing than a glass of tea. Fresh mint sprigs are steeped to create the soothing taste of Mint Tea Punch! Enjoy! Adapted from Southern Living (March 2004)

  1. Pour 5 cups of boiling water over the tea bags; add mint sprigs. Cover and steep 5 minutes.Stir in sugar; steep 5 more minutes.
  2. Remove tea bags. Pour tea through a fine mesh strainer into a pitcher, discarding the mint sprigs. Stir in concentrates and 7 cups water. Chill. Serve over ice. Enjoy!

Sharon 5+ star rating for this iced tea! I made the tea in my Mr Coffee tea maker and added 7 tea bags with the mint sprigs. Liked a bit of zip so added 3/4 cup of sugar instead of one cup and had pink lemonade on hand. The citrus flavors along with the mint is wonderful and very refreshing on a hot day. We will be making this again soon. Thank you so much hon for posting this recipe.

I used 5 Tbsp of instant tea because that's all I had on hand. It was still excellent.
