My father pulled a handfull of mint and tossed it in his hamburger meat one day, mom wailed he would ruin it! That was 30 years ago and they are still cooking them today.
- 3 lbs lean ground beef
- 1 small onion, minced and drained
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- kosher salt
- fresh ground black pepper
- 1⁄2-3⁄4 cup of fresh mint, chopped
- Put all ingredients together in a bowl and mix up for hamburger patties.
- The mint gives them a plesant and different taste!
