Mint Chocolate Parfaits

"These are really yummy! I like to top each parfait with a chocolate covered mint candy. They're best if chilled for a while."

  1. Inez, these went over really big at a recent party. I added a little green food coloring to the cream cheese layers, and stuck an Andes mint in the top. Very attractive, easy and good!

  2. I serve these kinds of desserts a lot. Easy do ahead type desserts. This went over very well with my dinner guests. Really good. Thanks Inez

  3. This is an incredibly quick, easy, tasty, and gorgeous looking recipe to put together. I made them for the kiddies for Thanksgiving (they do not like pumpkin) and we were ALL in heaven. My son has now declared that "Parfait" is one of his favorite desserts. One note, I used glasses that were a tad too large which made layering difficult, So if unsure go smaller for a better looking parfait.

  4. Oh, goodie! This is heaven, and all whipped up in minutes. I used sweetened whipped cream instead of whipped topping.

After DH and I moved away from the farm, and to the city...I haven't done as much cooking and very little canning. But I do come to Zaar and look for new recipes once in a while. I'm still cooking Zaar!! I like to play at Facebook, with my family and friends. A lot of my Zaar friends are there!! Yay! It's a good way to keep in touch. We travel more. We're looking at the European trips now. Hope to go in the springtime. I really want to see London, I think I lived there in a past life, I've been obsessed with it since I was 10 years old!!
