I have tried many biscuit recipes, only to have them be dense, flat, and not a lot of flavor. I was incredibly discouraged with biscuit making. This one is perfect! They rose beautifully and had a great taste! I topped my chicken pot pie with the biscuits and it was a hit. This is definitely my go to biscuit recipe. If I can do it, anybody can! Thank you SO much for sharing this great recipe!

YUMMY! and simple to put together. I love bread and rolls (my figure does not) but these were great. had for Easter dinner and they were gone before pics could be taken. I will make these again as they are simple and can be made at the last minute unlike yeast rolls. I may add in some herbs next time or cheese as this seems like a recipe that can be added to. I used the 1/2 butter (no salt) and 1/2 crisco shortening) I will update then. Made for PAC 2010
