I love meatloaf, so I put this recipe together one night as I searched the cabinet at 5 pm for a quick fix. They have a good burger taste to them.
- 2 slices bread
- 1 egg, slightly beaten
- 1⁄4 cup milk
- 1⁄4 teaspoon poultry seasoning
- 1⁄4-1⁄2 teaspoon grill seasoning (Monterrey steak seasoning)
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 lb lean ground beef
- Let the bread soak up the milk and egg until mushy. Add the seasoning, worchestershire sauce and ground beef. Make into mini meatloaves (or meatballs that are flattened). Top with a dollop of ketchup. Place into a greased 9 x 11 or cookie sheet. These should be spread out so they are not sitting in a grease pool as they cook. Bake at 375 for 30 minutes.
