Mini Meatballs - Italian

"Meatballs are always a hit. You can serve them as an appetizer with dip or as a main dish with pasta, rice or in soup! Naturally The grated carrot keeps these lean meatballs juicy and gets your kids (and picky adults!) to eat veggies without even knowing it. This is a recipe from the Canadian beef industry. Enjoy!"

  1. Yum! We really enjoyed these - both as an appy and then also with spaghetti. Simple to make and good. Thanks, Nif for sharing. Made for What's on the Menu tag.

  2. Served as a side with a spaghetti dinner tonight, with spaghetti sauce in small bowls as a dip. A great way to make meatballs, the grated carrot had great taste and my kids kept munching away. Came up with 6 meatballs short, but I may have made them a little bigger than called for. Excellent idea for kids to eat carrots. Thanks for the post. Made for Market tag.

I love great food and I particularly like trying cuisines new to me! Although I don't prepare as much food as I used to, creating in my kitchen is still one of my favourite things to do. Enjoy!
